Last weekend, I had the opportunity to capture the wedding of Kristina & John. This couple has such a close-knit family and church network and their ceremony was such a beautiful testament to their relationship and faith. So many touching moments were witnessed, where during a number of instances, the groom was moved to tears. I had such a great time shadowing them throughout the weekend and so lucky to have had such a stunning couple to photograph. Their love for each other really shows through their pictures. Below are a few photos from both the engagement ceremony and wedding. To enlarge, click on the photo. Hope you all enjoy!
Cheers,
Sarah

For Civic Day weekend, Ryan and I decided to head to Montreal to catch a few of our favourite bands live at Osheaga. Angus and Julia Stone, Stars, The Kills, Monsters and Men, Florence + the Machine, Young the Giant, St. Vincent, Interpol and Weezer? Oh my!
It was a great three days. We jammed down in the mosh pit amongst the crowd surfers, got right up and close to the stage during Interpol and Weezer and enjoyed the view up on the hill on a blanket with beer and cheese burgers. We also took the chance to use our GoPro and document our some of the things that were going on around us. Woohoo!
Last week, I had the opportunity of photographing a couple's engagement session at the Billings Museum. It being the first time shooting there, I was quite excited to draw from the colonial fixtures and beautiful lighting. The couple had the wonderful idea of doing an "indoor picnic" theme and I have to say that their choice of props were amazing! Right down to the delicious-looking red velvet cake, macaroons and family tea set. Overall, I'm very happy how the photos turned out and I'm excited to share a few excerpts with you. Hope you enjoy them!
