Happy Canada Day everyone! Hope all are enjoying the nice weather, BBQs and other festivities. I'm taking part of the morning finalizing the editing flow for my last shoot. When Debbie approached me to do a couple's shoot for her birthday, I was super excited! She had told me a bit of her new boyfriend and I was looking forward to seeing them together. These two are are extremely happy with each other and it was a lot of fun capturing this on camera! Here's a few photos from our session at the Chapman Mills Conservation. Enjoy!

Ottawa Event Photographer :: Ottawa Marathon 2013

This past weekend was Ottawa Race Weekend and the streets of downtown Ottawa filled with runners and spectators. Our friend Will was among the thousands who competed during Sunday's marathon. Accompanied by his wife Laura-Lee, Will travelled to Ottawa looking to improve on his personal best. Laura-Lee and myself decided to take Sunday morning off and watch the race. We had a good time cheering on the runners from the sidelines, walking along the marathon course and getting mid-morning beavertails! It definitely made me want to make the leap from half-marathons to attempting to complete a full :). Will did great, with a final finish time of 04:49:00. Below are a few photos from the day. Enjoy!

Ottawa Wedding Photographer :: Darine & Claude's Paradise Banquet Hall Wedding

This weekend, I had the pleasure of being invited to Darine and Claude's wedding in Toronto. Their wedding was extremely elegant with Darine's theme of purple, silver and diamonds being incorporated in every little detail.  Everything from the reception hall decor down to the wedding party bouquets were done with such care. Darine and Claude are close friends of ours and it was a joy watching the two of them revel in their love for each other. They were surrounded by a close-knit network of family and friends and it was very apparent from the speeches how much support they had in their relationship.  It was amazing to be a part of it! Congratulations again to the two of you and may your life together be filled with love and laughter!
