Lady & Anthony's Winter Shoot at Major's Hill Park

I first met Lady while shooting Kristina & John's wedding back in August, where she was one of Kristina's bridesmaids. I was excited to hear from her again and her idea of capturing engagement photos from each of the four seasons. This month, she was hoping to complete a "winter wonderland" shoot before the impending spring weather took effect.  Not only was the couple a lot of fun to work with, but it was a great opportunity to create some crisp and clean images that highlighted the recent snowfall in Ottawa.

The couple is currently looking forward to their spring and summer photo session. I hope this shoot builds upon their theme nicely!

Ottawa Engagement Photography :: Amy & Greg's Calgary and Banff Session

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! This weekend, I flew to Calgary to visit my sister and her fiance for their engagement shoot. We had a blast wandering through a fairly empty downtown core and frolicking at  Bow Falls and the Banff Springs Hotel. Stay tuned for more photos of this lovely couple, as I will be capturing their wedding in July! Below are a few excerpts from our shoot.

Cheers!

Ottawa Wedding Photographer :: Andrew & Jacquie

Last night, I met with Andrew and Jacquie to finalize their wedding schedule and scope out locations for their bridal portraits. These two are a very cute couple! We had a lot of fun wandering downtown getting ideas for their photos. Here are a few of the test shots we took. Can't wait until their NAC wedding at the end of the month! Andrew & Jacquie 1

Frolicking at Tabaret Hall and Strathcona Park

Recently engaged, Darine & Raynaldo gave me the pleasure of taking a few pseudo-engagement photos. We decided to use Strathcona Park as our backdrop, which was where Darine and Raynaldo had their first date. I'm so, so glad and relieved that the sun had come out by 7PM, as the forecasted storms would have put our plans for an outdoor shoot to rest. These two were a pleasure in front of the camera, though they later confessed that getting their picture taken made them nervous.  It didn't show at all! They were genuinely happy to be in each other's company and it definitely showed through! Congratulations again on your upcoming wedding!
