Kristina & John :: Royal Ottawa Country Club and Tabaret Hall Wedding

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to capture the wedding of Kristina & John. This couple has such a close-knit family and church network and their ceremony was such a beautiful testament to their relationship and faith. So many touching moments were witnessed, where during a number of instances, the groom was moved to tears. I had such a great time shadowing them throughout the weekend and so lucky to have had such a stunning couple to photograph. Their love for each other really shows through their pictures. This past Thursday I had the pleasure of covering a high school prom, where the grad committee had requested both a photo booth and photos of the event. Documenting this reception really took me back 10 years! I have to say proms nowadays are so much more glamourous! Everyone was dressed to the nines in beautiful gowns and suits, which complimented the amazing venue. ...very sophisticated. The views really made the prom special with the peace tower and the rest of parliament hill in the background.

I was quite lucky to have my husband as my assistant that night, as he was able to cover the photo booth while I took candid pictures of the party. He did a great job!

Lauren & Nick: Westboro Wedding

I had the pleasure to be a part of a very special ceremony last weekend. Lauren & Nick were wed at the First United Church in Ottawa in front of their friends and family in a very personalized ceremony. Their vows consisted of a covenant they created together and true to their personality, they even "Rick-Rolled" their recessional (Never Gonna Give You Up!! ;)). After the ceremony we headed down to the Ottawa River Parkway to take some fun portraits. Check out the army-print socks and cowboy boots!

Ottawa Engagement Photography :: Amy & Greg's Calgary and Banff Session

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter! This weekend, I flew to Calgary to visit my sister and her fiance for their engagement shoot. We had a blast wandering through a fairly empty downtown core and frolicking at  Bow Falls and the Banff Springs Hotel.
